Vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options
- Gluten-free: The Beef One in a gluten-free bun, or The Plant One made with a Beyond Burger in a gluten-free bun. The gluten-free bun contains egg.
- Vegan: The Plant One made with a Beyond Burger in a vegan brioche bun. Ketchup, vegan mayo, mustard and fries are vegan too.
- Dairy-free: The vegan Plant One, or The Beef One without cheese in the gluten-free or vegan bun (the standard brioche buns contain milk).
- The Chicken One can’t be made gluten-free or dairy-free, because the chicken’s coating contains wheat and milk.
- The Plant One’s usual burger (Moving Mountains) contains wheat, barley and oats, so for gluten-free we swap it for a Beyond Burger.
- Fries contain none of the 14 allergens. They’re fried in rapeseed oil, never in the same fryer as the chicken, which is cooked separately in an air fryer.

Important allergy information
Food is cooked by the kitchen team at Legends Brighton. Our menu uses wheat, barley and oats (gluten), egg, milk, soya, celery, mustard and sulphites, and the kitchen may handle other allergens too. We take care to keep dishes apart, but we can’t guarantee any dish is completely free from traces of an allergen.
“May contain” means the maker has warned that traces could be present from their own factory.
The lemonade in our house cocktails contains aspartame, a source of phenylalanine, so it isn’t suitable for anyone with phenylketonuria (PKU).
Some spirits are made from wheat or barley. Distilling removes the gluten, so UK law doesn’t count them as a gluten allergen.
Our suppliers sometimes change recipes, and we occasionally have to swap a product. If that changes any allergens, we update this page, and staff on the day have the latest printed allergen information. Always check with staff before eating or drinking.
