Brighton’s Saturday drag brunch: five years, 900 shows and a Christmas special

Every Saturday at Legends Brighton on the seafront, Qwerky Events puts on a live drag show with food and 90 minutes of bottomless drinks. This December it goes festive, and until 30 January every second ticket is half price.

Qwerky Events, the queer-led team behind Brighton’s bottomless drag brunch, puts on two shows every Saturday, at 2pm and 5pm, at Legends Brighton, 31–34 Marine Parade. Each runs for two and a half hours: drag queens host, sing live and run games and singalongs, with food served at the table and 90 minutes of bottomless drinks.

The brunch has become a go-to for hen parties, birthdays, work socials and friends’ days out. In five years Qwerky has hosted more than 900 brunches for over 72,800 guests and booked drag performers around 1,800 times, so every show is paid work for drag artists.

This December the show turns festive, with six Christmas drag brunches on Saturday 5, 12 and 19 December. Groups of 20 or more booking online get the organiser’s place free, which makes it an easy office Christmas party.

Packages run from £42.50 a person (Silver, house cocktails) to £69.50 (Ultimate), plus a 4% booking fee. Under Qwerky’s winter deal, every second ticket in an order is half price when booked on qwerkyevents.com, on every date until 30 January 2027.
