✨ What to wear to a drag brunch
Sequins? Sash? Trainers? Our honest guide.
The short answer: whatever makes you feel fabulous. The long answer is below.
Is there a dress code?
There’s usually no strict dress code at Qwerky. Most people dress up a bit, and lots of groups go all out. Outfits need to be fine for a public, licensed venue, so keep it fun rather than X-rated.
Go sparkly
Sequins, glitter and a bit of shine are always right at a drag brunch. You’ll be sat with the queens, so you might as well match them.
Group themes win
Matching colours, matching T-shirts, everyone in pink, a decade theme: groups with a look get noticed (and sometimes get a shout-out).
Hens and birthdays
Sashes, crowns, badges and veils are very welcome. Bring a spare sash in case one goes missing.
Shoes
You’ll be dancing. Heels look amazing, but pack flats in your bag for the end.
Don’t forget
Photo ID (it’s 18+), your ticket on your phone, a phone charger, and a jacket for the walk along the seafront.
Ready to print 🎉
Opens the printable version. On your phone, choose “Print”, then “Save as PDF” to keep it or send it to the group.
Planning the day itself?
Live drag queens, 90 minutes of bottomless drinks and brunch at Legends on Brighton’s seafront. Groups of 20+: the organiser goes free.
