Why Qwerky Is the Best Drag Brunch in Brighton (and One of the Longest-Running)

Brighton has plenty of drag brunches these days. We think ours is the best, and we've been doing it longer than most. Here's why guests keep picking Qwerky, and why so many of them come back for a second (and third) round.
Five years and still going strong
Qwerky has been running drag brunches in Brighton for five years, which makes us one of the longest-running drag brunches in the city. Lots of brunches have come and gone in that time. We're still here every Saturday, because our guests keep coming back and bringing their friends.
Here are the numbers so far:
- 900+ brunches hosted
- 72,800 brunch-goers welcomed
- 1,800 performers booked
That's a lot of practice. We know how to seat a 30-strong hen party together, how to keep a birthday table laughing for two and a half hours, and how to make sure everyone gets fed and watered on time.
Rated 4.9 out of 5 by our guests
We're rated 4.9 out of 5 on Google, from 145 reviews at the time of writing. We don't write those reviews, our guests do. Here are two of our favourites:
"Absolutely fantastic, 1 of the best drag acts iv seen, thank you so much for making my future daughter in laws hen do a 1 to remember xx" Sarah A, Google review
"Amazing Show - Queens were so funny and brought an amazing vibe! Talent off the charts! Service great as well - everyone’s a star!" Jack B, Google review
Top drag talent, live
Our queens don't just stand in the corner and mime. They host the whole show, sing live, run the games and get every table involved. The line-up changes from week to week, so you might see a familiar face or discover a new favourite.
Would you rather cheer from your seat? That's completely fine. Nobody is ever forced to join in, and you'll still have a brilliant time.
A proper brunch, not an afterthought
You get burgers or hot dogs with fries, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices, plus 90 minutes of bottomless drinks. The food is cooked by the chef at Legends, and we publish the allergens for every dish and every drink.
A home on Brighton seafront
You'll find us every Saturday at 2pm and 5pm at Legends Brighton, 31-34 Marine Parade, Kemptown, one of Brighton's best-known LGBTQ+ venues and a short walk along the front from the Palace Pier. Two sittings every Saturday means more chance of getting the date you want.
Queer-led, and everyone's welcome
We're a queer-led, LGBTQ+ inclusive events company, and everyone is welcome at Qwerky. We ask all our guests to bring respect, kindness and good vibes. We don't tolerate homophobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny, harassment, unwanted touching or abuse of any kind.

The best way to find out why we think we're Brighton's best drag brunch is to join us for a Saturday on the seafront.
